Results: Automatic failure for the semester

* For the first 10 absences of the semester there will be no consequence if:

Failure to meet one of the three requirement above means not receiving a grade for the work he/she missed that day.

Tardies

Number of Tardies: Results:
1 - 2 Verbal Warning
3 Phone call home
4 Lose 50% participation points
5 Lose 100% participation points and phone call home with a warning that student will fail the quarter
5 Automatic failure for the quarter

Job Site Policy

2 Letter grade drop on semester grade
3 Automatic failure for semester
No show/no call* Automatic failure for quarter

*Students missing an internship day must call both the internship supervisor and Mrs. Babcock prior to the start of the work day. Failure to do so will result in an automatic failing grade for the quarter.

MAKE NO APPOINTMENTS, OF ANY KIND, ON WEDNESDAYS.

Phone Policy

Students who will be missing school must inform Ms. Babcock prior to 7:00am.** Failure to adhere to this policy will result in the following actions:

**Students must phone 799-0180 ext. 4036 before 7:00 am or talk to Mrs. Babcock before leaving campus if leaving early.
**Calling in does not excuse an absence, it is proper business etiquette.
**Please bring a note excusing your absence to the attendance office to officially have it excused.
**Show all teachers the excused note following an absence.

Time Cards

Time cards are a student’s only proof of attending job sites. Time cards will be checked periodically. They MUST be turned in by the due date given at the end of each quarter or the student may receive a failing grade for his/her job site.
